Glide&Slide

Glide & Slide is an automated bottle lifting and transfer system designed to improve efficiency in industrial production lines by addressing space constraints and operational flexibility. The system utilizes Nema 17 stepper motors with lead screws for precise vertical and horizontal movement, ultrasonic sensors for height detection, and an automated gripper claw to ensure secure transportation of bottles. Controlled via an Arduino-based system, the prototype is compact, portable, cost-efficient, and battery-operated. Through iterative design improvements, the system successfully maintains bottle stability, executes repeatable motions, and enhances automation in manufacturing environments, reducing labor needs and improving consistency.
